I've always loved languages. As a kid, I enjoyed learning human languages, later working as a translator, and today I spend my days using computer languages as a software programmer. Whether it's German, Spanish, Perl, Python, or the language of a good story, I've always believed that words are meant to be explored, played with, and shared.
My first book, "Little Red Riding Hood, Ricky Wigglewhiskers, and the Beanstalk," began as a bedtime story that I made up when my daughter couldn't sleep. Seeing her excitement the next night when she asked to hear it again (and again and again) inspired me to turn that story, and other LIttle Red Riding Hood and Ricky Wigglewhiskers adventures, into books that other families can enjoy together.
My hope is that these stories become the kind children ask to hear "just one more time" and that parents don't mind reading again and again
